Select Production Mode and point to your installed JDK 8 directory.
Assign forms1 and reports1 to your machine.
Define your Oracle Home directory (e.g., C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home or /u01/oracle/middleware ). Ensure this path contains no spaces. Navigate to $FMW_HOME/oracle_common/bin and run the rcu executable. This utility creates the required database schemas for the middleware domain. 3. Domain Configuration
: You must have access to a certified Oracle Database instance (e.g., Oracle Database 19c) to host the middleware infrastructure repository metadata. Software Gathering
Enterprise Manager (EM) Plugin (Optional, but highly recommended for management) : Leave as default. Assign forms1 and reports1 to your machine

You can spin these up via the command line or from the WebLogic Administration Console ( http://localhost:7001/console ):
Install 64-bit JDK 8 (specifically version 8u151 or newer, though 8u321+ is recommended).
Provide your database Host Name, Port, Service Name, and SYSDBA credentials. Select Components: Choose a prefix (e.g., DEV ).
