Enscape simplifies the offline process by allowing you to download the asset library directly through its built-in interface. Follow these steps to cache the files locally. Step 1: Open the Asset Library Window
This paper focuses on the standard Enscape library. For custom assets (created via Enscape's Custom Asset Editor), the process is simpler, as these are stored locally by default. Enscape releases new assets and updates existing ones every few weeks. An offline library does not update automatically. To stay current:
Launch your CAD software (Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, ArchiCAD, or Vectorworks). Start the Enscape rendering window. Click the button (the three dots or gear icon) and select "Settings." Access the Asset Library from your CAD toolbar
: When you select a folder for offline assets, any existing content in that folder will be deleted by the Enscape process. You must create a dedicated, empty folder specifically for these downloads. Do not point it to your desktop or general documents folder, or you may lose personal data.
