Information

Pistol Information

An excellent article by Peter Kokalis on the wartime P.38 pistol can be found here, and another article on the post-war P38 here.

My post-war pistol has no date or date code - about when was it manufactured? You can get a rough estimate based upon these observed pistols.

Need to replace a broken WW2 slide part with a post-war part, and don't know if the new part will fit? Read the slide part compatibility guide. Note: this information is intended as a guide only. I am not a gunsmith. If you do not have working knowledge of the P.38 pistol, consult a competent gunsmith before attempting to effect repairs to your P.38.

Over the long term, will oil cause bakelite grips to deteriorate? An attempt to find out starts here. And continues after one year... and finally ends at three plus years.

Atarian's quick reference magazine guide. Helps to identify which magazine is correct for your pistol.

Atarian's post-war reproduction and aftermarket grip guide. Some of the currently available non-World War II grips for the P.38.

Can a "dipped" pistol be "un-dipped?" The answer is yes, and quite successfully. Take a look at zero series cyq serial number 030.

What's that 13 digit number on my pistol and/or magazine?

Information Exchange Pursuant to the OSCE Document on Small Arms and Light Weapons 2003, 2008, 2010. Note in 2002 the United States was by far the largest importer of German "Revolvers and Self-Loading Pistols" with 1,040,985 imported (of 1,082,797 - the balance of 41,812 or about 4% going to 20 other countries), while the Germans destroyed only 5,666 "surplus" pistols. In 2009 the US imported none and 17,520 surplus pistols were destroyed (none were exported to any country). See Annexes 2 and 3.

is a specialized software tool widely used in the automotive diagnostic community to generate long keys for activating Mercedes-Benz diagnostic software. MHH AUTO, a popular forum for automotive professionals and enthusiasts, hosts extensive discussions on this utility, with Page 34 of the dedicated thread being a significant hub for user troubleshooting, updates, and key requests.

Using cracked configuration tools can destabilize a diagnostic machine. If a key generator improperly modifies core system registries, it can cause the multiplexer (like a diagnostic C4 or C5 clone) to drop connection mid-programming, potentially "bricking" an expensive vehicle control unit.

The keyword "Page 34" refers to a specific page within that massive thread. This page offers a fascinating glimpse into the real-world issues users face. Xentry Advanced KeyGen 1.1 - Long Key - MHH AUTO - Page 34

As Mercedes-Benz releases newer service packs for Xentry, older key generation methods break. "Page 34" represents the specific chronological point where community developers released patches, updated DLL files, or adjusted parameters to bypass new security patches.

Over various versions of Xentry (and its predecessor, DAS), Mercedes-Benz updated its encryption algorithms to prevent unauthorized use:

Because original key generators are often guarded by forum veterans to prevent widespread software piracy or monetization by third-party sellers, many threads operate on a request basis. Page 34 is frequently filled with posts from newer members listing their Hardware IDs and requesting a veteran member to generate a Long Key for them. I can provide the exact file paths and

The diagnostic software uses a strict licensing architecture managed through the Mercedes-Benz or older StartKey Manager utilities. Short Keys vs. Long Keys

The conversation on Page 34 is not about celebrating success, but about troubleshooting a specific problem: . One user, James69 , details their attempt to run Xentry (specifically version 09.2019) on a Windows 7 Panasonic Toughbook.

A frequent flashpoint for these discussions is the automotive forum MHH AUTO, specifically surrounding tools like the and the generation of "Long Keys." Exploring the technical context of these terms reveals the mechanics of Xentry activation, the architecture of long keys, and what users typically encounter deep within community forum threads like "Page 34." Understanding Xentry Activation and the "Long Key" This page offers a fascinating glimpse into the

The Xentry Advanced KeyGen 1.1 is a powerful tool for automotive professionals, offering advanced key generation and diagnostic capabilities. When used correctly and in conjunction with resources like MHH AUTO, it can be a valuable asset in managing vehicle keys and diagnostics. Always prioritize secure and legitimate use of such tools to protect vehicle security and ensure optimal performance.

Xentry Advanced KeyGen 1.1 boasts several features that make it an essential tool for automotive professionals:

In summary, Xentry Advanced KeyGen 1.1 is a powerful tool for generating long keys for the Xentry Diagnosis system. Discussions on platforms like MHH AUTO, particularly on pages like Page 34 of relevant threads, provide critical support and information for users of this software. As vehicle technology continues to evolve, tools like Xentry Advanced KeyGen will remain vital for those working with Mercedes-Benz vehicles. If you'd like, let me know: If you need a more of how keygens work. If you are looking for installation guides for Xentry.

A common issue discussed deep in these threads is Xentry rejecting a generated Long Key. Users often exchange fixes, such as manually cleaning the lic.key files in the C:\ProgramData\LicDir directory or adjusting Windows registry permissions so ConfigAssist can successfully retain the key.
